What is a pre-order?

If you've shopped on other websites, then you may be unfamiliar with a pre-order. You're in the right place to get answers! Many retailers sell off-the-shelf products. And while we do carry some of these, the large majority of our products are custom-manufactured just for you. This means that when you place your order, you are commissioning Merlin 3D Studio to produce that product for you. Meaning that your purchase is not manufactured until after your order is placed.

Our products are detailed, and the production process can take 10-12 months depending on when you place your order. We want to be very transparent about this. So when you place your order, expect that it can take up to a year for your product to be manufactured and then shipped to you. We offer painting for some of our products, and painting can add additional time to that process. Most of our products are professionally painted by hand. And while this results in stunning works of art, it is also time intensive. With all of this said, the results speak for themselves! Merlin 3D Studio is proud to product the highest quality most accuate products in each category that we participate in.
